Emergency Evacuation Drill
Only by helping teachers and students to be familiar with the procedures, methods, routes and safe escape areas of emergency evacuation in case of fire and earthquake can we ensure that the lives of teachers and students of the whole school are protected to the maximum extent in case of emergency. On the morning of November 17th, the Primary School Division held a fire prevention and earthquake emergency evacuation drill.
Initially, before the drill, the Primary School Division made a detailed implementation plan. Afterwards, each head teacher emphasized the requirements of evacuation drills and taught relevant safety knowledge of emergency avoidance through morning reading sessions. Specifically, during the drill, the teachers arrived on duty in time, performed their duties meticulously, and had a clear division of labor.
What's more, the drill consists of two parts: emergency avoidance and emergency evacuation. To start with, at 8.30 A.M., the teachers in charge of each post came to work. At 8.35 A.M. the radio station sent out an early warning signal, and the drill officially began, after which the teachers of each class immediately stopped teaching, and quickly opened the front and back doors of the classrooms. Meanwhile, the students on the first floor immediately evacuated to a safe area. On the other hand, students on the second floor and the third floor were guided by their head teachers to carry out emergency hedging by quickly holding their heads, curling up their bodies, and using desks as shelters. Furthermore, the second evacuation signal was issued, and the indoor students quickly evacuated to a safe area under the leadership of the teachers.
To put it in a nutshell, after the drill, Rao Dan, Deputy Director of the Moral Education Department, summarized the performance of teachers and students in the activity in time, reminding all teachers and students to enhance safety awareness, improve emergency risk-off ability, and ensure life safety.
